his mother. Because of his distant relationship with his mother, Wilhelm found
that the military was a place where his true family was. This source gave me two great quotes about scholarly opinions of Wilhelm's life. One quote explained Wilhelm's mental instability and the other explained how Wilhelm could have prevented World War II.
